I would have driven any number of hours to photograph this beautiful girl’s senior portrait session, it truly meant that much to me. I’ve known her since she was 12 years old, so getting to see the sweet, confident young woman she’s become has been incredibly special. Watching her grow into herself, with such kindness and determination, is something that makes this session feel even more meaningful.
She’s heading into nursing, which feels so perfectly suited to who she is, and I genuinely can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes in the years ahead. There’s no doubt she’s going to make such a positive impact wherever she goes.
We met at a new-to-me location up in San Destin, Florida, and it turned out to be such a fun experience for both of us. I absolutely love exploring new places like that—finding hidden corners, interesting textures, and little pockets of light that make each image feel unique. It adds this sense of creativity and spontaneity to the session that I really enjoy.
We spent our time walking around, laughing, and just enjoying the process together. It didn’t feel rushed or overly posed—it felt natural, easy, and full of genuine moments, which always makes for the most meaningful photos.
