My longtime client, Arlene, reached out to me and asked if I’d be willing to come back to Navarre, Florida for a weekend to fit in a handful of sessions, which lead to a headshot session. Most of what she had in mind were family sessions, along with a really special one to celebrate her graduating senior. I was so excited at the idea—not only because I always love working with her, but also because Navarre has such a relaxed, beautiful backdrop that’s perfect for capturing genuine moments.
Since I was already planning the trip, I opened up a few additional spots and extended the invite to some other families I knew might enjoy the opportunity. It turned into such a fun, full weekend—getting to reconnect with familiar faces and meet a few new ones, all while doing what I love.
While I was there, Arlene and I spent some time catching up in between sessions, and she casually mentioned that she could really use a few updated headshots. Of course, I was more than happy to make that happen. I headed over to her home, and what started as a quick add-on session turned into such a relaxed and enjoyable experience. We took our time, chatted and laughed, and really played around with different flattering poses, angles, and expressions to capture a variety of looks that felt natural and true to her. It was one of those sessions that didn’t feel rushed at all—just easy, comfortable, and full of genuine moments, which always makes for the best photos.
