There’s something extra special about photographing a family while they’re on vacation—especially when their vacation becomes part of their family’s holiday memories.This beautiful family traveled all the way from New Jersey to enjoy some sunshine and time together on Melbourne Beach, Florida. While they were here, we planned a family mini session along the coast, creating a collection of images that felt natural, joyful, and uniquely theirs.
Rather than simply taking traditional family portraits, we wanted their session to capture the feeling of being together on vacation. The beach, the warm Florida light, the ocean breeze, and plenty of genuine smiles all came together to tell their story. These weren’t just photographs for a holiday card—they were memories of a special family getaway.
One of my favorite parts of this experience was helping them turn their photographs into something they could share with the people they love back home. After selecting their favorite images, I helped design their holiday cards so the finished product reflected their family and the relaxed, coastal feel of their Melbourne Beach vacation.
