Hannah and Jesse met me on a very blustery and cold day in Navarre for what was supposed to be a maternity session with a surprise engagement, but after arriving we quickly realized the weather was going down hill fast and was only going to get worse. It was so cold and Hannah was just not feeling it. I did not want to spoil the surprise but I agreed that the weather was just not going to cooperate. Jesse simply could not wait any longer. He got down on one knee right in the parking lot! So needless to say I missed the engagement, don’t worry her sister got a video to share, and we rescheduled to a less cold day with more favorable weather. January and February in Navarre are so unpredictable at the beach and often very blustery! It also can change quite quickly so 10 minutes before a session the weather can be great, but by the time we get to the beach the weather could be so different. The next time I met them at the beach, there were almost not clouds in the sky and it was warmer, but as we were shooting, the wind picked up and it started to get cold, so needless to say it was windy! Hannah picked some beautiful gowns that like to flow in the wind, so it just added a little drama to their session. I am so happy and excited for these two as they embark on parenthood and married life all at the same time.
