Brittany’s beach maternity session turned out to be such a magical adventure! The day started out with a bit of drama—rain showers had just passed through, and there were storms hovering to the north and south, keeping us on our toes. The sky was filled with swirling clouds and the wind added so much movement, giving the whole scene this wild, untamed beauty. The ocean waves were rolling in big and bold, crashing with energy and creating such a stunning backdrop.
Even though we didn’t have a ton of light to work with, nature truly showed off in the end—the sky opened up into the most gorgeous tones, painting the horizon in soft, dreamy colors. Those moody clouds and powerful waves came together perfectly to create some absolutely epic images that felt straight out of a movie. And of course, Brittany was such a rockstar—calm, radiant, and completely up for anything, even wading right into the surf for those incredible shots! Sessions like this are what make photography so special—the unpredictable mix of weather, nature, and pure joy coming together to create magic.
